Theatres in Hamburg
Hamburg is well-known for its wide range of large and small theatres. The Deutsche Schauspielhaus (German Theatre) and the Thalia Theatre are state-owned and the rest are private. The most well-known of the latter is probably the Ohnsorg Theatre, which presents plays in the language of Low German, which are also shown on television.
