Online booking: If you have a property booked online, the reservation is binding. You can always cancel your booking but this will incur a charge. Please provide us your cancellation request by email to email@example.com.
Please note our cancellation fees:
- Cancellation up to 45 days prior to arrival: 30% of the total price
- Cancellation up to 30 - 44 days before arrival: 50% of the total price
- Cancellation up to 14 - 29 days before arrival: 70% of the total price
- Cancellation up to 0 -13 days before arrival: 90% of the total price
Direct Enquiry: If you have a confirmed your stay at a property via Direct Enquiry, with the landlord confirming within the 24-hour time period, the booking is contractually-binding. As with the Online Booking, you can cancel your booking at a cost. Please E-Mail your intent to cancel to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cancellation fees for Direct Enquiry incur the same charges as the Online Booking booking system.
- Cancellation 50 days prior to arrival: Charged 30% of the total price
- Cancellation 30 days before arrival: Charged 40% of the total price
- Cancellation 14 days before arrival: Charged 50% of the total price
- Cancellation 7 days before arrival: Charged 65% of the total price
- Cancellation 4 days before arrival: Charged 80% of the total price
- Cancellation 3 days prior to arrival: Charged 85% of the total price
Request Booking: With request booking, the lease is concluded directly between you and the landlord. If information regarding a cancellation is missing you can ask the landlord. You should be aware of the cancellation policy and any possible charges before signing the lease.
In case of cancellation, we recommend that you take out travel insurance to limit the personal cost of the cancellation penalty. Why should I write a review about the property?
When looking for holiday accommodation, most holiday makers look for reviews from previous visitors. With an honest review you can help other people come to a decision about their own holiday. At the same time you also benefit from the reviews that have been submitted by other travellers. You can leave a review at the end of the property.
Where can I complain if I am unhappy with my rental property?
If you have something to complain about on your holiday, direct communication with the landlord usually the best solution. If this does not help, you can of course express your dissatisfaction in a review. This should always reflect the facts even if you are unhappy.

Who do I contact if I want to cancel the trip?
Online booking: If your accommodation has been booked online, please contact us with your cancellation request in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Direct Enquiry: If you wish to cancel your rental after making a booking by Direct Enquiry, please state your intent by E-Mail to email@example.com
Request Booking: With the booking request option you negotiate the lease directly with the landlord. Travanto is not involved in this process. In the event of a cancellation please call the landlord directly.
